Getting rid of post pregnancy fat isn’t easy and it wouldn’t happen naturally. That’s the truth. If you don’t take care of your postpartum fat, it wouldn’t take care of itself. It wouldn’t get rid of itself. For a very small number of women it happens relatively easily, but for most women, the larger majority; it takes some effort especially those who didn’t have flat tummies before their pregnancy. It’s not going to go on its own. The very good hospitals know it, that’s why they give you an abdominal binder after birth. Our grandparents and old school midwives also know it that’s why they give us wrappers to tie and some even ask that we take a little hot drink, or eat some hot soup to warm us up on the inside so that congealed blood and fluids can melt and flow out.
I hope we are flowing well so far… So how do we get our pre-baby body back? First and foremost is that the best time to get rid of postpartum fat is immediately you are done with having your baby i.e. immediately after you deliver each child. Don’t wait for too long or it starts to become permanent. A few weeks to some months is also ok. But the earlier, the better. Sadly though, you may not be fit to do strong exercises and to be completely honest, it is not safe to start exercising so early. Forget push-ups and abdominal cramps, they don’t help you. Push-ups only help build abdominal muscles, they don’t burn fat. Focus your exercising on Yoga and get a tape to measure your belly often to know how much progress you are making. This is what many people do not know.
You should also try to eat right and healthy. Fruits and vegetables are essential for you right now. You also have to take enough water not just for you but to help with lactating so that you can produce enough milk to feed your baby. But in addition to these, let’s consider some of our unique products that can help.
We will now quickly mention some of the products which we know for certain would help you achieve this. They are not fashion waist trainers. They are medically approved products for the body of a new mom and guaranteed to help you get your figure back within 6 weeks of use.

—–Shaperbelts and Post pregnancy panties——
Mothersbond Post Pregnancy Shaper Belt/High Waist Panties Secondly we have our highly successful Mothersbond Post Pregnancy shaper belt. There is no need spending much time talking about this product. It’s so good that everyone who has bought it has always come back to say thank you. It’s made from medical grade bamboo, very comfortable to put on and highly flexible. We also have some lovely postpartum high waist panties that do the work when you aren’t wearing the shaper belt. Let’s say you don’t want to wear your shaper belt to go out (which you should by the way) but let’s say that you don’t, then go ahead and slide in these panties. They also get the work done and improve your shape. They are smooth and well made, even your husband would love to see you wearing them. They make sure women get to feel sexy and look attractive again. They have helped a lot of women re-ignite the spark in their marriages and relationships almost immediately after having a baby. On the product page for the high waist post pregnancy panties, we offered our advice that in as much as we love babies; most of those who bought these panties fell pregnant almost immediately after. There is just something about it that makes the men find it attractive and from there, the rest is history. As a result of this feedback, we had to put a warning note and also do a post on a woman who is breastfeeding and discovering she is pregnant again. Really, it has been happening especially to those who wore theirs at night time. They used the shaper belt in the day then used these panties at night. So when buying the shaper belt, consider buying this panties together, make an effort to get it. It would definitely make you feel happier, make your home happier and your body would return to normal quicker.
——-Post Partum Compression Wear—–
Mothersbond Postpartum Compression Wear Third is the Mothersbond Post-Partum Compression wear. This product has been tested by several women and they love it because it gathers every part of the post pregnancy belly and tuck it all in, leaving nothing spilling on any side. Women feel free wearing this or the shaper belt under their dresses and go to out to work. It compresses from all sides and has three levels of hooks and eye. So you start with the third and gradually move to the first as your belly compresses inwards. It’s typically called a girdle and offers all round compression. It has some antibacterial fabric underneath in case you still have to wear them with sanitary pads. It works by flattening your belly on every side and also lifting your butt up and it disappears under the dress. If you buy this girdle, please try to sleep in it at night.
In Africa, when a woman puts to bed, that’s the time she is asked to start eating fatty intestine meat in pepper soup. This is why most of our moms have big tummies. Who can blame them. In the past, a beautiful woman was one with a full body. Some even go to a fattening room after marriage. But all that has changed. The definition of beauty now is very far from big and robust. Thus, having a baby is not the license to let down our guard. Eat them if you must but eat very little, if you can afford options, then go for the fish pepper soup and not the fatty intestine ones. Also eat lesser food generally at night and more at day. Use your abdominal binder or shaper belt or compression wear at night. Sleep in them. We hope husbands don’t feel obstructed but then this is why we say again that the best time to use them is immediately after having your baby because at that time, your husband wouldn’t bother so much if you are all covered in any of these materials. More food break down takes place at night when we are quiet and motionless at night than in the day when we are active. It is at night our belly takes shape. So be bound at night.
Also, while you are so happy that you have had your baby, I must add that your body is still delicate and your muscles are still soft and tender. This means you shouldn’t use hard materials on yourself. Waist trainers and corsets which contain metals on the sides are not ideal yet, at least not now. They pull your belly in and when you take them off, you see your entire belly sagging out still. Get back to shape with what is specific for post pregnancy, not what is meant to train your waist.
Please note that you can also use your hot water bottle even when still pregnant. They are absolutely safe. Especially when used on your back, waist, sides and chest. Just try not to apply very hot ones directly on the baby bump. You can put it when warm. You would know what’s too much from the heat. (Hot water bottles: N6,000) Original ones that wont spill.
Also available are breast pumps, bottle warmers, teethers, pacifiers etc.

hi my baby is 10mths and my tummy is still very big. Which of ur product will advice me to get.
Hi Ayo,
Thanks for your question. First thing you should know is that at 10 months post-partum, it shouldn’t be too difficult for you to see some results. Although each woman’s body is unique and different.
However, some basic questions we normally ask. Did you have a normal delivery or CS? Is it only your belly that is big…what about under your bust and your pelvic area?
In addition, there is a good chance that more than one product may be advised because it has been 10months. So that you use some at day and some at night in a manner that ensures compression is going on every time.

What is the price of the motherbond compressor in Rands? Pls
Hi Lauren,
Our major concern lies with the cost of delivery to you in SA, which could be as high as the product cost itself…or do you have any suggestions on how it can be sent in a lesser expensive manner.

My baby is 7wks old but my belly is still so big which type can I wear and how do I order.
Hi Augusta,
Thanks for your question and interest. It all depends on which one you are comfortable with. What size are you please? Perhaps your size would help make things easier. So what is the size of your belly now? Using a tape and measure around your belly, what size is it? Mainly, we would recommend either the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the shaper belt. They both work well.
On how to order, Locate the product you want and click on it>>> Add it to cart; If there are other products that you want also, go to them and add them to cart.

My baby is 6 months old but my tummy is 38 what do you advice
Hi Toyin,
Thanks for your question. Before offering any advice, can we know what your tummy was before having a baby? If it was far less than 38, then perhaps consider getting the post pregnancy shaper belt.
Happy bonding,
The Mothersbonds Team
Pls my tummy used to be rily flat.I did cs nov 7th,wich of the product will work for me?
Hi Funmilayo,
Thanks for your question. If your stitches are fully healed, then any of the products can serve. Please use a tape to measure your belly size and with that, we can know which one would best fit. However, as it is with a CS, then it either the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the post pregnancy shaper belt. We look forward to your feedback.
Happy bonding,
The Mothersbonds Team
Comment, pls my baby is 3month today my belly is still big, if i use ur produce it goin 2 go down
Hi Mercy,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, at three months, your belly can still go down. These products have been used by several women even up to 6 months post-partum (after pregnancy) but the earlier you begin using it, the better.
However, before we talk on which product is best, please tell us if it is only your belly that is big or other areas like under your bust and your hip area. If it is only the belly, then the shaper belt focuses on that area, but if it other areas, then the 3 in 1 abdominal binder may be best.
Happy bonding,
The Mothersbonds Team
Hi. My baby is 9 months already and my tummy is still big. My waist is 37 inches. I think I need all 3 products please. What’s the cost?
Hi Dolapo,
Thanks for your comment.
We can’t tell the total cost of three products because we do not know which ones you are referring to ma. Besides, there is also a delivery cost which depends on your location.
Kindly log on to http://www.mothersbond.com.ng and go to each product you want, add it to cart. Then go to another, add it to cart also. When done, “view cart” and “proceed to checkout”. Then fill out your required details and select the delivery cost that corresponds with where you are. The system calculates all costs together. Then we would deliver to you.
Thanks and enjoy bonding with your child.

Hello,my baby is two months old n i had him via cs,pls my belly is yet to go down. I av a flat tommy before pregnancy but now tommy measures 36,pls what can I use?
Hi Bukola,
Thanks for your question.
Because of how special we regard our moms, we would attend to your question on Christmas day.
Now we have some questions…has your stitches fully healed?
Where else would you like to have worked on, for instance is it only your belly that is still big? How about under your bust? How about your pelvic area?
If we can get the answers to these questions, the we would suggest which one is best.
Enjoy bonding with your child.

Hi my baby is 7mths + my tommy is 40 pls do u think it ll still work for me????? if yes pls how do I order?
Hi Uju,
Thanks for your comment, Yes it would still work on you but you would see quicker results if you can be committed to wearing it constantly for about 3 – 4weeks.
Now I also need to ask if your tommy at size 40 was as a result of your baby 7 months ago. I mean was your tommy smaller that this before now?
To order, please log on to http://www.mothersbond.com.ng and go to the product, add it to cart and view cart, proceed to checkout, fill out all the details and place order.
Thanks and look forward to your response.

My baby is 4 months,my tummy is big,at first when I had her,the hospital pressed my tummy well for me,it was wen I cme to naija I started eating heavy food.now my tummy is big and my hips too.any advice?
Hi Funmi,
The first thing to do in this case would be to get it right from where you got it wrong…that is your diet. Try to eat more of non-starchy and non-fattening foods.
Secondly, if you are still breastfeeding, please drink plenty of water, it helps you make more milk and feel less hungry for food.
Thirdly, take some vegetable every day. We don’t know where you are based right now but let’s assume you are in Nigeria, there are some vegetables that actually do well for new moms. Cucumbers, ripe tomatoes(raw) and garden eggs. Please eat any one of these at least once a day, (make sure they are washed thoroughly). Over the next few weeks you would see some amazing results if you keep to it.
We wouldn’t recommend any of our products because you haven’t asked (even though they may help make things faster) but in terms of advice you asked for, these three tips above would help a lot.
Enjoy bonding with your child.

Wow…i have 3boys I gave birth to my last boy by Feb.4month..i have added so much weight from 16-20
.pls which of your product can I use.my tommy is big too
Hi Oluchi,
Thanks for contacting us. As odd as this may sound, you are not doing badly, except that you were already on the big side before now. Some people become bigger from size 10 to size 20. Some grow from a size 8 to 16. So yours really isnt that bad.
The best option for you would be the power compressor. You should have measured your waist before you can order this product.
It would surely help you get back to shape quickly, especially if you can wear it day and night too for at least one month.
In addition to this, also try to watch what you eat, even though we know you may still be breastfeeding. Please and please, take a few seconds now to read our post on this topic. Here is the link below, please click on it and learn more.

Can this product still work for me cos my baby is 4 months + already?
Hi A.Y.,
Thanks for your interest.
Yes, even after six months, some women have given good feedback.
You just need to know which of the products would be best for you, then be committed to using them all the time, and the most important part is the honesty that your stomach wasn’t this size before baby. If it was smaller, even by a little, then you can go ahead. But if it was like this before baby, then these products cant help much because they are purely post pregnancy and only deliver results when the users’ big belly is as a result of having a baby.
Thanks and enjoy bonding with your baby.
The Mothersbond Team.
good evening, please my baby is about 9weeks old and my tommy is still quite big as are the hips, i would like to know if your products could still work for me and exactly which ones you would recommend for me. thank you Ogechi from Benin.
Hi Ogechi,
Thanks a lot for your question.
Yes, after 9 weeks, (equivalent of 2 months and a week) the products can still work for you and produce good results. And because you are targeting your hips as well as you tummy, the 3 in 1 abdominal binder would best fit your goal.
The 3 in 1 binder has three belts; one each for upper belly, lower belly and hip/pelvic area.
Hope this clears the air.
Enjoy bonding with your child.

My baby is now 11months nd 21 days old.. And I gave birth to her via cs. My tummy size is 36inches, can this product work me? Hop it’s nt too late to resize my fat?
Hi Damilola,
After almost one year of having your baby, You may be thinking if it is possible. Well, it is possible but as a responsible and honest organisation, we like to be clear with our users.
First, you need to be sure that your belly size is as a result of having your baby, not that your belly was this size before getting pregnant. If you are sure that it was smaller than this before, then yes it can work for you and take it down.
Secondly, it would take commitment of wearing almost every time, day and night. And you should be using a tape to measure your belly in the morning every two weeks, before any food. Then you know the progress.
So with that, then look through the website and find out which one you prefer.
Best regards,
Kim

I’m thinking of placing an order for the post patum compression wear.. which of ur product do you recommend for me .for my tummy Was not big before
Hi Juliet, Please in addition to the compression wear, the post pregnancy shaper belt can be considered.
Use one while home and the other when going out.
Best wishes and enjoy bonding with your baby.
My infant is 9months old but my tummy is looking like I’m 28 weeks pregnant. I really want back to the flat shape it used to be. What’s your advice? Thanks!
Hi Commy,
As a rule, we try to be completely honest with our customers. If you want to get the best results, there are some steps to follow. First, you combine several options. Some that you wear when at home, some to wear when going out and even something to wear at night. This is so that at every point in time, compression is taking place. Something is pressing in your tummy every time. It may sound like a move to get you to buy more but this is the best way, especially for women who are above 8 weeks postpartum. This is the first step.
Second step is to be committed to it for the long term. Not only one month, but three months and even more.
Third step, you should also measure. Get a tape and measure every week, preferably in the morning before eating to know if it is going down or not and to also know what is working.
We hope this helps. If you need further clarifications kindly reach out to us again and we would be glad to help.

I had my baby through cs and we re just two months. I had a very flat tummy before I had her with cs, is it wise and healthy to start using this product?my stiches has healed also. Which one works for me and how do I get it.I live in ilupeju lagos state
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for your interest. Yes, since your stitches are fully healed then you can go ahead and begin using any of the products.
You could opt for the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the post pregnancy shaper belt. But the 3 in 1 may just be best. Now, you may also wish to consider the high waist panties. Most women bought the panties as a secondary product which they use mainly at night to continue the compression even while they are asleep. So either one you choose, simply read more about them on the website http://www.mothersbond.com.ng
On how you get it, after reading and making your choices, then place an order right there. You can purchase more than one item in a single order and once we receive your order, it would be processed and delivered to you in Ilupeju.
Please enjoy bonding with your child and dont hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.

Thanks, i have been looking for something like dis, my baby is 2weeks nd my belly is still big, it was a bit big before pregnancy. Pls are you in nigeria? I need the 3in 1. Tunmise
Hi Tunmise,
Yes we are in Nigeria, although these products are of US origin.
Even though your tummy was a bit big before pregnancy, we have observed that sometimes, when a woman has recently delivered, all the reproductive organs and all the fat in her belly become loosened including those making it seem like the belly was fat prior to pregnancy, they too become loosened. This creates a good opportunity to compress all of them at once and those old belly fat can actually go.
It is the hormone called “relaxin” which pregnant women produces that loosens all these fat so baby can come out smoothly. But relaxin when it is doing its job doesnt know the difference between old belly fat or current pregnancy fat. It loosens everything. So when you use a good binder at this point, it works on all of them at the same time.
Hope this helps to clear the air.

Hi,am 8months pregnant .I will like to have dis product so that I can use it right after delivery.I had ovarian cyst surgery 6weeks after having my second baby.after that my tommy look like am 4months pregnant even before dis my third pregnancy. I really want it to look flat like before.so which of ur products do u think will be best for me?
Hi Jane,
Thanks for the comments and question. Yes you can order right now but you should know which size would best fit your body when you deliver. By estimation, the size of a woman’s belly immediately after delivery is usually what it was at 6-7months of pregnancy. IF you can’t tell what it was at 6/7months, then simply take note of what it is today and subtract about 5 inches and you should fall into the right size range of what you should order for.
We are sorry to hear about your ovarian cyst surgery. And we advise that even after having this baby, please do another check up on the ovary just to be extra sure there’s no resurgence after this baby.
For best suggestions, it mainly depends on which area you are trying to concentrate on. If you wish to compress only the belly, you may stay with the shaper belt. But if you are also concerned about under your bust, and your pelvic area, then the 3 in 1 abdominal binder may just be right for you. If we were to recommend, perhaps you may want the 3 in 1 because of the surgery you had after baby 2 because it helps with post-surgical compression too.
Enjoy bonding with your child.

My baby is 11month and my tummy is still big pls which one can u recommend. Is my first baby
Hi Mrs Lawal,
Congrats on your first baby. Many more coming…
To help with your tummy after 11 months would require patience and commitment. It may also require more than one product, some you wear out, some in doors, some when you want to sleep. This is so that you can have compression taking place every time. Also get a measuring tape, like a tailors tape to use to measure once a week or every two weeks in the morning before meal to know how things are going.
You could start with a compression wear and the 3 in 1 abdominal binder. With extra money then please consider the post pregnancy panties for the night. With these you should see some results but please be patient. It wouldnt happen overnight. But you can be assured that these products are soft on the skin so you wouldnt feel discomfort.
Enjoy bonding with your child.

I’m 5months post C-section, pls which of d products would-be okay for me, how much is it and how so I place order. Thanks
Hi Marvis,
Thanks for your comment.
5 Months after c section, we normally ask if your stitches are healed and if there are still any pains for instance when you bend down or when you lift a heavy object.
If all is good, then you could consider the shaper belt or the 3 in 1 ab binder. The 3 in 1 also is good for women who have had CS because it is extra soft and has no edges. You may also want to combine with the Post pregnancy pants. That one may be used specifically for sleep time if you have swelling in your lower abdominal areas too. Also, you can sleep in the 3 in 1 though.
The prices of each one is on the website, please check it out and there is also a delivery charge which varies with your location.
Please visit the website, http://www.mothersbond.com.ng and place an order. Add the product you want to cart, view cart, proceed to checkout, fill all details including post code, then place order.
We look forward to your order.

hi pls I would like to ask a question? I hv a sister dat did cs and her baby is almost two years old she hv a very big belly is’t possible for her to use dis product
Hi Biola,
Thank you for your question.
There is an African proverb that says the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, but the second best time is today. Though it has been two years since your sister had her baby, and we know the earlier she began the better, but that doesn’t mean it is late to see some results. There has been some women who have seen results even after this long or more. But the secret remains consistency, commitment and measurement.
So she may have to buy more than one product to help with this. Use some night and others day so that she can get compression happening all the time. And with a tape to measure every fortnight, she can know which one is working best for her and how it is going.
We hope this answers your question.

Hi, my doctor said I’m gonna be having a c-section, and I’m wondering which product(s) to use, how soon to use them and how to place my order.
Hi Eva,
Thanks for your comment. Our best bet whenever it comes to CS is the 3 In 1 Abdominal binder. This one you can begin using even after 2/3 days post CS delivery, provided there were no complications. The shaper belt you can also use after CS but not immediately, say after two weeks.
But even for the 3 in 1, if you feel any pain, please wait let your stitches heal and you feel very little pain. Although by way of design, it is smooth on the skin. So you can consider using it.
You can place an order on the website following the same steps…
Go to the product, add it to cart, view cart, proceed to checkout, fill all details and use at least 2 or 3 numbers as zip code, then place the order.

pls my tummy used to be flat but has grown bigger since delivery. my baby is 6months n also my arm is fat. which of ur product do I use. I need the hip to also reduce
Hello Vivian,
Some of these changes happen in a woman’s body so no need to worry too much. What we would advise though is that you consider the compression wear. That would be a good place to start. Try to wear it every day, night and day if possible. If you have a tape, please always measure your stomach each week for one month in the mornings before you eat so you know how much progress you are making.
About your under arm, well. We do not have any items for that now but in future, we might because quite a lot of women are asking about something for that area.

Hello, am 2weeks post partum .my stomach is still big about 37.5 to 38 inch,my waist 36inch.pls which product of urs do u recommend for mi.am more concerned about the tummy.am OK with other areas.
Hi Nkechi
Two weeks postpartum, wow that’s recent…how is your little one? Well, you could consider the shaper belt or the 3 in 1 abdominal binder which you would only use the first two binders and leave out the third binder. Also consider the post pregnancy panties. They could help you greatly.
For diet, please, try to eat some ripe fresh tomatoes. This is in addition to your meals. They help with post pregnancy weight loss too.

My baby is 1year 10 month
That is my first child and my abdominal circumstance is 36 inch waist is 41 inch although I have plans of being pregnant again which of your product would you advice me to use
Hi Mercy,
Many thanks for your comment and the second clarification you made. But its quite confusing though. These figures you provided seems to suggest that your waist is larger than your stomach. Is this the case please?
We would recommend the post pregnancy compression wear and the high waist panties. Both combined would get some good results. Compression wear during the day and high waist panties in the nights, this way there is compression day and night. You can leave out the high waist panties if you think its lower than the area you are targeting i.e. it doesn’t go high enough.
The second reason we suggested it though is because of its attractiveness and the fact that many women who bought it said their husbands like it. Wearing them in the evenings may very well lead to more babies especially now that you said this also in view for you.
We hope this helps…enjoy bonding with your child.

Pls am not sure of the size I should order pls advice ASAP
Hello Mercy,
All of our products have size guides for best results. So what you could do is to find a tailors tape or any tape that measures in inches and then use it to know your waist size or belly size depending on the product you want to purchase. After which you compare with the product guide to know where you fall into.
Hope this helps.

hi
I’m presently pregnant will want 2 out of the 3 in 1( sternal n abdominal) so as to start asap. pls how much is the 2?
Hi Carol,
Its a good idea you have, ordering ahead and starting to use immediately, but the 3 in 1 abdominal binder comes as a 3 piece set. However, one cant buy any two and leave out a third. All details about it are on the product page in this website.

hi…my baby is seven months plus.she was supposed my second..but i had a still birth with my first.my tummy was very flat before my first conception.but now its 40inches…which of your products can i use..tho mi hubby thinks your tummy would neva reduce by just wrapping something on it…lol.but i dnt mind trying.if it wld wrk.
Hi Lois,
Sorry to hear about your sad experience with your first pregnancy. These things do happen.
At seven months postpartum, you can still see some results but it would be best if you combine products such that every time, you have something compressing. So you can use some in the day, some at night, some when home, some when you outside home. We also encourage our moms to get a tape to measure, for example a tailors tape to measure her tummy every week (very early in the mornings before breakfast) for the next 8 weeks to know how much progress she is making and which product option seems to be helping the most. So we believe in commitment, consistency and measurement.
With this, your husband just might be surpirsed to see some changes.

Please can I eat while wearing the products or remove before eating since it will be worn for outing, indoor and also night. thanks.
Hi florence,
Good question Florence. You can wear them while you eat. This is why we recommend size guides which get the job done but aren’t too tight. In any case, it depends on you. If you feel comfortable wearing them to eat, go ahead and do so, if not, they aren’t difficult to take off.

Hi, am Ajah Nkechi.I placed an order last week n was charged a delivery fee within Lagos while I stay in Ebonyi state. I called to rectifier it n was told to place another order.I tried doing that but cudnt. I want to know if my order is still valid or should I forget about the order.
Hello admin, my baby is nine month already& my tummy is very big like a woman in 9mth carry twins, although I have big tummy b4 pregnancy, and I’ve been doing some exercises Like skipping& dieting but I’m not seeing any result, though I had my baby through cs. Pls what I do to have my figure back back.
Hi Titi,
Your comment is so interesting. Did you have twins? Let us look at the efforts you have made and analyse them. Skipping…not so sure, but dieting…thats a good step. But let us forget for a second that your tummy is big, has your dieting shown any good result in any other part of your body since you started? Has your weight reduced? If you have seen results in other areas except your tummy, then maybe it is working. But if you are not seeing any result for your exercise and dieting in any other area, then you may not be doing it right.
Skipping builds stamina, it doesn’t help you reduce your tummy size. For dieting, we always advice that you start with lowering your food portions. If you eat one full plate of food presently, make it half a plate. Don’t worry, your body would get used to it soon enough. Also stay away from sugar and sugary drinks. Minerals, carbonated drinks of any kind and cakes and creams should be cut off completely. Make these changes and observe your weight drop. The only downside to this is if you are still breastfeeding…if you are not, then please start with these steps.
Finally, you may want to also try to get the abdominal binder or shaper belt. The Abdominal binder is mainly recommended, and use it as much as possible.
This is a long response but it is worth it and we hope you would apply these tips and get the best results.

Nice products. Please which of those is recommended for women who had CS? I am slim but I need something to take my CS protruding tummy down. My saving grace is that I am slim.
Hi Olajumoke,
Many thanks for your comment. For CS, that would be the 3 in 1 abdominal binder. It is almost tempting to say “go for the medium size” because you are slim but it doesn’t always work in that way. It is best to note your belly measurement (in inches) with a tape and compare using the size guide to help identify which one would best fit you.
Hope this answers your question.

Hi. My baby is 4month, and my tummy is still big and waist is wider and my thighs I use to be slim please which of the product do you recommend.. Thank you
Hello Grace,
Thanks for your comment.
Whenever we hear about the tummy and the waist areas being wider, then its either the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the compression wear. If you can afford to, perhaps you go ahead and purchase the two but if you have to choose, then what could help you make a decision is that the 3 in 1 may be visible under tight fitted clothes, where as the compression wear isn’t visible. But the 3 in 1 also wraps you fully and makes sure there would be no area left unbound.
If you are able to buy both, then we would say use the 3 in 1 while at home and at night and then use the compression wear during the day and while going out.
And be careful what you eat now. Let your belly take the shape and form you want first by eating smaller portions of food and your belly would get used to this and become a small one.
Hope this answers your question.

Hello, I had my second baby four months ago and a flat tummy before pregnancy. Which products
would be okay for me to use safely? Do these products work for abdominal separation due to pregnancy and will
I need to engage in some exercises to get my shape back along with use of the products? Thanks
Hi Mayowa,
Many thanks for your comment and question.
You can start with the abdominal binder or the compression wear. They are both suitable for abdominal muscle separation. But the 3 in 1 abdominal binder helps more for CS deliveries.
We wouldnt recomment any exercises now until the next few months. Although it has been four months already, we still think you should stay off exercising for a while. If you are really concerned about your shape beyond what these products can achieve, then perhaps you consider a dietary approach.
We hope these answered your question. If you have any further concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out again.

Comment l like your product but am still pregnant
Hi Blessing,
Thanks for the feedback. We are glad you do. There are two things that you can do. Either you take down our details and ensure to order once you have delivered. Or, like so many women, you could order now and have it available to begin using it immediately after delivery. Either way is ok.
(PS> If you are 5/6 months pregnant, you can order your size right now. If you are 7-8months pregnant, you can measure your belly and subtract 4 inches from it because that’s what your belly would be when your baby comes out…the belly size would drop.
Hi, am Ginny. Am still pregnant hoping to deliver soon. I need d one for my tummy. How can I get it? I want to use it immediately after delivery. Am from Nnewi in Anambra state. Thanks
Hi Ginny,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
We are glad to hear that you are nearing the day of delivery. Our prayer is that it would be smooth and interesting too. You would soon hold your little angel and all the stress of the pregnancy would vanish so quickly.
You are making the right decision to have your tummy tucked in right after delivery.
That’s ok. You can get the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the post pregnancy shaper belt from our website http://www.mothersbond.com.ng. Go online and place an order and it would be delivered to you in Nnewi, Ananmbra State. When on the website, find the product, add to cart. If there are other products of interest to you too, click on them and add to cart. Then view the cart. Then proceed to checkout. Fill all the required details and place an order.
We would receive it here and make arrangements on how you can get it quickly.
Many thanks and we look forward to hearing about your baby.

Hi, I would like to get a recommendation on how to deal with my post-partum fat, my baby is 6months old, I had a normal delivery and my tummy is 39 inches now, it was certainly smaller than that before pregnancy, although I didn’t take any measurement. Pls tell me what to do… Thank you
Hi Alexandra,
We would recommend the post pregnancy compression wear and/or the shaper belt but that’s not all. In addition to that, we suggest that you also take a dietary approach to addressing this.
1. Eat lesser portions of food. If you eat a full plate of food, make it half of that size. Don’t worry that you would feel like you are starving. Within a short time, you would get used to it.
2. Your meals should not make you feel full. This stretches your stomach muscles and gradually, your stomach and entire tummy expands to accommodate that size of food. So try to eat well but not to the point of being full.
3. Don’t eat again after 6pm each day, try to have your last meal by 6 pm at most. Late night foods make one fat.
4. Cut off sugar completely. Especially sugar from minerals, soft drinks and juices. They make the stomach to bloat and swell.
5. Fatty foods and starchy foods should be at the minimal. Let your diet be mainly fruits, nuts, vegetables and beans. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat normal everyday meals but the main content; anytime you have the capacity to control it should be these.
6. Vegetables do more than fruits because of lesser sugar content (even though they are simple natural sugar with the type of glucose content our bodies need). But better to stay closer to vegetables especially carrots, avocado, garden eggs and tomatoes (ripe tomatoes washed clean). Eat them in the mornings about two hours before your breakfast. Ripe tomatoes may taste off, but they are great with tummy and general fat and if you are breastfeeding, they help too. If breakfast is by 9, eat a bowl full of these mix vegetables at 7am every day for as long as possible but at least 4-8 weeks for best results.
7. Cut off fast food, snacks, suya, pizza etc. They taste sweet in the mouth but they are not for some people.
These tips we have given you in addition to the compression wear/the shaper belt have helped so many women and we know your case wouldn’t be different.
From all of us at Mothersbond.
my baby will be 7months next week Sunday, my belly is still big, I have been looking for a good girdle but couldn’t find one, thank God for this post I just saw. please tell me which one to use, how to order them and how much they cost. I hope delivery can be made to any state.
Hi Mercy,
Many thanks for reaching out to us at this time. We are sorry that you have had to wait this long to find a post pregnancy girdle.
We would recommend that you use two of these girdles at once. The shaper belt and the compression wear combined or the 3 in 1 abdominal binder and the compression wear combined. Use either one day and the other at night. This is so that you can have compression taking place at every point in time.
On how to order them, please go on to our website and locate the item, begin with either one, click on it, add it to cart, view the cart, then go to the second one you choose, add it to cart as well. Then view the cart, then proceed to check out where you would fill out all your details and place the order. If you have any challenges please call 08183461635 for assistance. You can also order by sms by sending the items you want to the same number but please take note of the right sizes in each case. For the shaper belt and abdominal binder, you need your belly size. For the compression wear, you would need your waist size.
And finally, yes we deliver to any state in Nigeria. So dont worry about that.
If you have any further question please reach out to us and we would be glad to respond to them.
Many thanks and enjoy bonding with your child.

Hello mb
so happy to see this site. My baby is 4months old,had her through CS. I used to be a size 10(UK). But now I doubt if a size 18 would fit me. I’m so bulged out!, belly, bum, bust, everywhere. Would the shaper belt and high waist panties be a good option for me. Pls hlp me fast, so embarrassed with myself. Thanks
Hi Joy,
Thanks for contacting us and just like you, we are glad that you have gotten to know about us too. All you have described about putting on weight and feeling unhappy with your new size is also very familiar to us and we would be glad to work with you through it.
As you would agree with us, this is not only a matter of what product we can sell to you. It is also something that would take some effort on your end and some dieting too. Don’t worry, it is not something expensive or tasteless. Its just some changes in what you should eat, at least for the next 6 – 8 weeks.
We have written extensively on this topic and we know it would help you a great deal in getting started. Here is a link to the post, it is also on our blogpage. You can read it if you haven’t done so already.
http://mothersbond.com.ng/2016/02/25/three-easy-steps-to-deal-with-postpartum-belly-and-weight-gain/
On what products that would suit you, well, we would recommend a few products. First would be the 3 in 1 abdominal binder, this would help gather it all from under bust down to the hip area. The you could also get the high waist panties too. Now the shaper belt can come in handy but these may all be too expensive for you now. However, if the cost is still within your budget, then please get the shaper belt (all three of them) because not only does it help with abdominal compression, it also helps with bringing your shape back.
We believe that with these tips you would read about from the link we shared with you and these specific products, getting some results wouldn’t be a problem for you.
Please get back in touch with us if you have any more questions, we are always glad to hear from our friends and willing to answer any questions they may have.

I know it is for Mothers but can someone who has not delivered a baby use it still?? My tummy is big and I need to take it in.
Hello Eunice, thanks for the question and the simple answer is yes. But honestly, using it alone wouldnt be the best thing to do. Here is a link to another post we have. Please read it if you havent done so already and pay attention to the dieting part. Then you can combine those tips with the 3 in 1 binder. You should see some results soon. Hope this answers your question. If you have further questions, please ask.

My baby is 4 months and three weeks and my tummy is still big with virginal delivery.even my breast is big as well. What can I do? Thanks
Hi Anna,
Thanks for your comment.
At 4 months post partum, then you are most likely still breastfeeding. If this is the case, then if your breast is still big, that should be normal. Hope you are lactating well and your baby is feeding well.
For your tummy, then please consider either the shaper belt or the compression wear. Either would help you. But in addition to this, please also try to read this link. Click on it and it would take you to where you can read more about the tips we shared which has helped so many women get their shape back and tummy flat again after baby.

your product are nice but pls among the fat side before I gave birth and my baby is 3month now which of your product will you advice me on cos my tommy is going out of shape i delivered with c/s and i copied the number can i call or do you have outlet in Nigeria If yes where pls cos i need to be seen to know which of your product to buy thanks
Hi Lara,
Thank you for your message. We understand you very well. The best product is the 3 in 1 abdominal binder or the shaper belt. These two can help you.
We do have an office in Lagos but we mainly process orders and do other administrative work.
What we need from you is to tell us the size of your belly. Not your waist, your belly around the navel area. With that measurement, we would know which of the products and sizes we recommend to you.
Use a tailors tape to measure if you have one. If not tell us your dress size. But best would be a tailors tape.
Thank you.
The Mothersbond Team.
Nice one. Thumbs up mb
Thanks for the feedback Ola.
Can a single lady buy it and just keep for future use?and do I really need it since I have a very flat tommy.
Hi Omotola,
Thank you so much for your question.
It makes no difference if you have a flat tummy before having a baby, once you get pregnant and your tummy swells for 9 months continuously, then you would need something to bring it down. For some women, it is relatively easier and some have to work extra hard for it. Bottom line is if you have a flat tummy today, you would definitely have it become big when you have a child and would need to make the effort to bring it down afterwards.
If you still wish to purchase it now, then please go ahead and do so.
We hope this answers your question.
Regards,
The Mothersbond Team.
Well done mothersbond. I like and respect the fact that u painstakingly answer every question asked. For myself am almost 5month due still breastfeeding though and my belly size is 33 after measuring it today with a tailors tape. Please would love to know the best product to use cos I also had a cs. thanks much! Awaiting your thoughtful and honest reply… #kisses
Hi Sylvia,
Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it. We try our best because we know how hard it is to find accurate information and how easy it is to make mistakes too. We saw your comment yesterday and was planning to reply.
At 5 months post partum we dont expect that there is any pain at this stage, please consider the 3 in 1 abdominal binder. And the best size for your given this figure would be the Medium. But did you try using anything in the past to help with your tummy?
Enjoy bonding with your child. Our Kisses and hugs too for your baby.

Thanks MB for your reply…. Am making an order for d 3-1 abdominal binder and d panties. So how soon can I get my orders? Also to answer your question I was told not to use anyfin (like d hot water belly massage and tiring of stomach) that period so I have just been breastfeeding( baby friendly) and some lazy sit-ups I tried doing but wasn’t consistent
Hi Slyvia, It would take approximately 1-2 days to receive it if in Lagos and 3-7 days if outside Lagos, depending on your location.
We understand the delay with which you had to hold on because of your CS but honestly, those fears many times are heightened. A few weeks is enough to get your body to the point where you can use a binder, only be sure it is not some metal containing waist trainer that does more harm than good. At 4 months post CS, you should be ok but just make sure it is not too tight, and that your stitches are healed. If you feel any tightness or pain, then loosen a bit. You should also stay away from vigourous exercises but basic aerobic exercises are fine even 3 weeks after CS.
my baby is 4 month + and my tommy is still big .my tommy is 39 ,my waist 37, laps 38, weight is 69.can dis work 4 me .
Hi Abiola,
Yes it can work for you. Did you have a CS or a normal delivery?
how can i get it if i order for it from ondo state
Hi Halima,
If you order from Ondo, or anywhere else in Nigeria, we would deliver to the given address. Even if you have no address, just make the description as detailed as possible so that the person making the delivery would not have trouble finding it.
Also important is that you put a valid telephone number so you can be called on for help if the need arises.
So we would try to deliver it after we get your order. Please go on to http://www.mothersbond.com.ng and place your order.

Hi! I am almost 7 weeks postpartum & she’s my second. My tummy is presently a size 37 & a bit flappy. Which of your products will u recommend & how many days will it take me to get it when I order? I stay in PH. Is it payment on delivery? Thanks & God bless!
Hi Miebi,
Thanks for contacting us and congratulations on your baby girl. I am sure she must have brought so much happiness into your home.
The best product for you now would be the 3 in 1 abdominal binder. It costs N10900 for the product and shipping inclusive. It would take about four days (or possibly less) to get to Port Harcourt. And yes, it is payment on delivery.
Based on this measurement, if you have done it correctly, you would use the medium size. Dont worry about the flabbyness, it would be alright soon. Its quite normal to be like this now, although now is the best time to address it.
We hope this answers your question. If you have more questions, please dont hesitate to contact us again.

My baby is 2months now…which of d products are my likely to use…my tummy, under my breast and pelvic area still look a bit swollen
Hi Eve,
You already identified the three areas which the 3 in 1 abdominal binder is designed to work on. So you have your answer before you. The 3 in 1 abdominal binder it is.
Sustain the excellent work !! Lovin’ it!
Will be having my baby through cs. Which one of your products can I use immediately. …like 3 days after the cs
Hi Ukachi,
The best product based on your description would be the 3 in 1 abdominal binder. But you see, with CS, you need to observe your body closely. Immediately you receive it, a few days after your CS when your stitches have started to heal, you can begin using it. But dont squeeze too tightly to the point of causing you any pain or discomfort. Once you feel any pain or discomfort, loosen it a bit. In any case, give or take, you should start using it a week after CS. 3 days may be somewhat early.

Had my baby thru c.s, started tying my tommy weeks after, exercise at 6wks, still working out but there is a small stubborn lower belly fat that has refused to go in. Which of your product am I likely to use??my baby is 5 months plus …
Hi Ifeyinwa,
We have read your comment and we quite understand what you mean. Post CS tummies are not easy to deal with but that doesnt mean they cant be dealt with successfully too. We are just unhappy that you began exercising after six weeks even though you had CS, that was quite early.
The best product for you now would be the high power compressor. It would give you almost instant recovery. Here is the link to it, please click and read more. If you have anymore questions, please contact us.

Had my baby 4 months ago, I used waist trimmer but my lower tommy is big and flabby I’ve actually trimmed down.pls tell me what product to use and how will I get it am based in Lagos. And I’ll need a product I can use for my next postpartum I.e after my next baby.
Hi Esther,
Thanks for contacting us. Honestly we get feedback like yours almost everyday. Did you use a Latex waist trainer/trimmer? Those items are specifically to help women fit into a dress, not for post partum compression.
In any case, we have two main questions for you. One, did you have a CS or a normal delivery? secondly is your tummy still soft or it has started becoming hardened?
The best product to control that part is the high power compressor, it costs N14960 (excluding delivery) and would help you in amazing ways including correcting the mistakes of the first waist trainer. It is also very durable and would last you for a while such that you can use with other pregnancies.
We hope this helps.
If you have more questions, please dont hesitate to ask.

Please I need the Tommy fat burner. I had my kids through CS and the last is 9months
Hi Promise,
Thanks for contacting us. At 9 months post partum that means your tummy wouldnt be as soft as when you just had your baby. The best product for you at this time would be the high power compressor.
It costs N14,960 (before including delivery cost). And its suitable and effective even for Post CS deliveries.

Hi. I haven’t had children yet but I had a surgery for fibroids 6months ago. I can’t do situps anymore (my tummy was big before though). and I want to slim my tummy. I don’t use girdles cos they are extremely painful. So my question is can I use your products? Which one will work for me? Do you deliver in xxx state?
Hi Fisayo,
Our feelings are with you for the surgery you went through. We are glad it was successful. But we know from experience that the tummy would still look big even though the mass is gone. Girdles, corset and the likes wouldnt help you.
Yes we have a product for you and it is The high power compressor. It would really help you bring down the tummy, strengthen your back and waist.
Yes we deliver to your state in about 3-4days after we receive an order for an instock item.
It costs N14960 plus another N1900 to deliver it to you.
DOnt worry, everything would be well soon.
Pls I need an abdominal binder and compressor with one nursing bra(size 36) . I live in Warri Delta state but right now am 8months pregnant but would like to get it and start using as soon as I deliver. How do i know d right size to buy and how much would it cost?
Hi Ify,
To get the right size is quite simple. For the abdominal binder, we would need the size of your belly now. We already know you are almost due and so your tummy wouldnt grow again in size. We would simply deduct 4 inches from it because once baby comes, it would reduce by around 4 inches. So with this, we can know the exact size for you.
For the compressor, we would need your current waist size. That one would be fixed so no need to worry.
For the bra, 36 is the band size…do you know if you are busty or you have normal cup size?
We look forward to your response…

I got a 3 in 1 post partum abdominal binder months before delivery, now am 5 days postpartum but with a ceaserian section and flabby stomach measuring 37,(I got a medium sized though)how many weeks postpartum would it be ok to start using the binder, am so eager to get my shape back. Thanks
Hi, I’m expecting my 2nd baby any second, minute, hr.., and wld like for my stomach to return to normal in time at all., I usually have a very flat tummy. How do I know which size to get and how soon? I think I wld like the 3-in-1 compressor cos I love me my comfort.
Hi Triumph,
Thanks for contacting us.
Since you are almost due. Then we know that your tummy wouldnt be growing again. So please measure your belly and tell us what it is right now, and we know the tummy looses 4-6inches immediately baby comes. So with this information, we would know where you would fit into once you put to bed.
Also we would like to know your dress size before baby.
We look forward to your feedback.

Hi Precious,
Thanks for contacting us and for your interest in the high power compressor.
After two months post partum, it’s perfectly safe to use it because we are almost certain that at this point your stitches would have healed.
To order it, please measure your waist size and note the number. This would help get the best fit for you in terms of comfort and compression.

Pls will it help my flabby and soft tummy go down??i mean d high compressor or is dia anoda one dat can work more than d high compressor
The high compressor is our most powerful product and is even suitable for strong tummy. If you are really not sure which option to consider, then you can go for the abdominal binder. Its also a good product that can help you at this time.

Hello,
My baby is two months old and my tummy isn’t back to shape yet. I also have a flabby lower tummy. I’m really worried about it getting back to shape. I’ve begun exercising but I’m resuming work soon and I’m hoping to see major progress before I resume. I live in Lagos. What product will work for me pls?
Hi Tee,
Flabby lower stomachs are quite common after child birth. So dont get alarmed although they are mostly caused by waist trainers, did you by any chance us a waist trainer?
We would recommend that you buy two things, one would definitely be the abdominal binder. And the second would be the high power compressor or the compression wear. But we recommend the high power compressor. Combine both for day and night.
But if by any chance we havent achieved the results we are looking for after 4weeks and you have to resume work, you can actually continue to use the high power compressor.
We hope this helps. If you have more questions, please dont hesitate to contact us again.

I wanted to know if an individual will pay home delivery for every product, even if he/she is getting it at once?
Hi Precious,
Thanks for your question.
You would actually pay only one delivery charge even if you buy several items at once. For example, if you buy 3 items, it would all be put in the same bag and brought to you together and you pay for the delivery only once.
We hope this answers your question.

Hi,
My baby is 11 months old and I am still battling the bulging Tommy. I had him through CS. Can you recommend which of the products to buy.
Thank you
Hi Lade,
We think the best option for you would be the high power compressor because of how long it has been.

Good morning.am a new mom to be and almost there.when do i start using the 3 in 1 binder after birth and how can I tell what size to purchase?do I measure my belly after delivery or when?
Hi Kemmy,
Thanks for contacting us. And we are with you as you eagerly expect your patter of tiny feet.
To order it while pregnant, you can tell us how many months pregnant you are now and the measurement of your belly using a tape.
You should also tell us your dress size before baby.
With these, we can accurately estimate the best size for you after your baby is born.
If you want to measure after you have put to bed, then thats ok. You only need to send us your belly size.

Hello, I am 4monthd postpartum but my lower tummy is still big, soft and flabby like am still 3/4 months old. Please which product can I use. Thanks.
Hi Aderonke,
That would largely depend on if your tummy is still soft. If it is still soft, please combine the abdominal binder and the post partum compression wear. They should give you a good result.

I had my twins babies abt 2years now through CS. Fortunately I got my body back almost immediately by taking hot soups and doing some of these exercises listed. So I didn’t bother with it afterwards. But surprisingly abt 6 months now I av added weight I cant explain and dat was immediately I stopped weaning them. Im engaged at a gym currently and I need advice on which of the products to use and d guarantee dat it will yield result as soon as possible. Thank u.
Hi Edith,
Sometimes, women find that they are drained when they are breastfeeding. And so as soon as they stop, the extra food they were eating which was going to their children in form of breastmilk now has no where else to go than to stay in their body.
The right step to get your body back would be to look at where you missed and our guess would be in the area of what you eat, when you eat and the portions of food you eat. These are the areas to look at and combine that with the high power compressor, and you would have some happy stories to tell in about 2 months time-guaranteed.
Moreso, the high power compressor is a product you can use while exercising too.
The best results come when after exercising, you can get a hot water bag and use to press on troubled areas, especially at night or immediately after exercise.
We hope these help, and we look forward to your order.

Nice one mother bond, Pls I want to ask, my baby will be 5 months next week, I was using a waist trainer but of recent my tommy is coming out so big, measuring 37cm, getting me really worried cos the Dr diagnosed fibroid in me but said was harmless. Can I use the waist shaper? It’s only my tommy that is big. And is it possible for fibroid to continue to grow after birth? I have a feeling that’s why my tommy isn’t flat
Thanks for contacting us.
Your doctors’ diagnosis is right because if you understand fibroids’, they are uterine tissues growing just like every part of your body. Most times they are benign and pose no harm to the woman but at the same time, they can be trickily positioned such that they affect the ability of a growing fetus to get nourishment. Sometimes they are so big and compete for space with the growing fetus and press the fetus leading to a miscarriage. Other times they can interfere with the ability to even conceive in the first place.
In your case, the fibroid didn’t stop you from conceiving and didn’t lead to a miscarriage. So very likely, the fibroid is small.
A fibroid wouldn’t grow so fast in 5 months, so dont worry, thats not the case.
Honestly, most of the time, waist trainers are the cause of big bellies and mis-shaped post pregnancy bellies. They are fashion products, not medical products and as such, they are not designed for women who have just had babies. In such condition, you should use a product specific for after baby.
You may want to consider our abdominal binder.
We hope this answers your question.

hi, I’m a mother of a 1yr 9months old and I just found out I’m 1month pregnant. I’m really interested in your products which I would use after delivery. please which do you recommend. after the first baby my stomach wasn’t very big and I would still want a flatter stomach after this baby. I’m anticipating for your feedback thanks
Hi Egwero,
Thank you for contacting us and for your kind words towards our products. Congrats on your pregnancy.
Any of the items you go for would be ideal considering that you are planning to start out immediately after your baby arrives. So you could use either the abdominal binder or the high power compressor. In addition, one way to also guarantee a quick return of your tummy to its previous size is to use a hot water bag on your tummy if you have one.
Congrats again and please if you have more questions, please dont hesitate to contact us again.

Hi Mandee,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Based on your request, our advice is the ultra thin high power compressor.
It would meet and exceed your expectation.

Hi Motherbond Admin,
[warning:long post]-
General info:
*I just stumbled upon your sight,
* i have had natural deliveries,
* i dont know my pre pregnancy waist size.
I used to be a size 10/65kg in university, before i got pregnant for my first child (he is 14months now) i had a flat but soft tummy (no muscles), but i added 5kg extra before i found out i was pregnant. During the first 6months of my pregnancy i was losing weight, i went from 70kg back to 65kg, then during my 3rd trimester i went up to 70kg again. Note that during pregnancy i had difficulty eating in large quantities, and i never drank any soda or sweet drink (it made my mouth bitter).
After the birth of my son, my mom used hot towel to press my tummy morning and night, and for the first 2 weeks there was improvement. But then i made a very big mistake (out of ignorance), i started eating double the size of food i used to eat pre-pregnancy, i was always hungry (although i wasnt doing exclusive because my milk was not running well), plus my mom and other women advised i always drink pap and hot tea, so i could have a big bowl of pap with plenty milk and sugar with half loaf of bread morning and night.
2 months after birth i noticed my tummy was getting bigger, so i joined the gym as i wanted to look slim and sexy for my son’s dedication. the gym helped other parts of my body, my arms and legs were toned and all but my tummy wasn’t (plus i was still eating like a king). it was 4 months after birth that i began dieting (without exercise) and i noticed the difference, my tummy wasn’t extremely flat, but i could fit into my size 10 clothes (while sucking belle).
I got pregnant for my second baby (I am 6months plus pregnant at the moment), but my tummy was not back to being fully flat after the first. plus i was weighing 75kg when i got preggy the second time, unlike the first. So my fear now is my tummy will be really huge after birth. I didnt measure my waist before pregnancy so i have no idea what size it was. I am gathering all my arsenals to make sure i get in shape immediately i deliver (i have even drawn up a post-partum meal plan to hand over to my mum when she comes for omugo.lol)
However, my main questions are as follows:
a. Can i get the Post-pregnancy shaper belt and pant and the psot partum compression wear. Or do you have any other more effective product i can use?
b. What size do i get. i am currently a size 78 at 6 months+ preggy, so lets just say i may be 80kg by the time i put to bed. and my aim is to go back to a size 65kg before my child’s dedication.
c. is it true that massaging the tummy with rub and putting warm moringa and mint leave on the tummy and tying up the tummy with a klean film helps to flatten the tummy?
d. do you know if drinking lemon water every morning affects breast milk supply(i was doing it the first time and it helped but i wasnt exclusively breast feeding, but i plan to do so this time)
e. kindly offer extra advice on how to lose the post partum weight generally. what exercises can i do from the 1st week upwards? i heard skipping burns fat all over the body.
Thanks for taking time to read my long post. i look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Hi Chichi,
Thanks for these questions, and we would itemize the answers in the same format just as you have listed the questions.
a. Based on your description, its best to buy the abdominal binder and the high power compressor, or either one. These are much more effective.
b. The best size to get would depend on your dress size before you became pregnant. Were you a size 12/14, Or a size 10/12. We wouldnt want to work with something like your weight, especially as you are guessing into the future. Lets stick with pre-pregancy dress size.
c. Honestly, we doubt that these would work. What works is tying the tommy with wrapper, backing your baby like a village woman. These are everyday things that work. Also using an abdominal binder or a compressor can help. In addition, using a hot water bag, filled up with hot water and place on your belly can help apply warm compress to melt out any congealed blood.
d. Lemon water wouldnt negatively affect your breastfeeding.
e. Our advice is on the link below

Hi its me again so i just checked my waist size (at 27weeks preggy) it reads 100cm and my hips reads 106cm. so kindly advise on the size to pick for the 3 products i asked about above. thanks. i would also like to know what your return policy is like, in the event that i get a product that is too small or too big?
Hi Chichi,
If we can focus closely on getting the right size before dispatch, the need for a return would not arise.
Regards/.
